Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of branch licensing processes, including issuance, renewal, amendment, suspension, and closure of licenses before district authorities (الأحياء).
  • Secure and maintain commercial registrations and chamber of commerce memberships across all operational branches.
  • Manage all filings, approvals, and certifications required from the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), including incorporation updates, activity amendments, and capital changes.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable Egyptian laws governing logistics, transportation, and commercial operations.
  • Act as the primary legal interface with governmental and quasi-governmental entities, including municipalities, commercial registries, tax authorities, and investment authorities.
  • Obtain and maintain all required operational permits, approvals, and no-objection certificates necessary for company activities.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely implementation of any changes affecting operations.
  • Provide legal support to operations teams regarding branch setup, warehouse compliance, and transportation activities
  • Review and validate operational documentation to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Address day-to-day legal issues arising from branch operations, including inspections, violations, and administrative disputes.
  • Track expiration timelines and ensure proactive renewals to avoid operational disruption.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on licensing status and compliance metrics.
  • Identify regulatory risks associated with branch operations and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Support internal audits and compliance reviews related to licensing and governmental approvals.
  • Ensure proper handling of penalties, fines, or administrative sanctions, including negotiation and settlement where applicable.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
  • 1–3 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Background in corporate, regulatory, or operational legal roles.
  • Prior experience within logistics, shipping, or commercial sectors is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Egyptian regulatory frameworks and governmental procedures.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities.
