Job Summary:
We are seeking an Associate Engineering Manager to lead execution and delivery across one or more engineering squads. This role is focused on driving operational excellence, ensuring predictable and high-quality delivery, and strengthening cross-functional alignment.This is a leadership-track opportunity for a highly accountable and organized individual who excels at bringing structure to ambiguity and fostering strong collaboration between engineering and business stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end execution of roadmap initiatives across assigned squads.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at a high standard of quality.
- Break down large initiatives into clear milestones with measurable outcomes.
- Proactively identify risks and drive timely resolution.
- Maintain strong alignment between engineering commitments and business priorities.
- Improve sprint planning accuracy, estimation quality, and delivery predictability.
- Track, analyze, and report on delivery metrics and overall execution health.
- Drive continuous improvements in engineering processes and workflows.
- Uphold high standards for documentation, clarity, and execution discipline.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and key stakeholders to ensure aligned execution.
- Translate business requirements into structured, actionable delivery plans.
- Communicate timelines, trade-offs, and risks clearly and proactively.
- Serve as a central coordination point between engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Support engineers by identifying and removing blockers.
- Reinforce a culture of accountability, ownership, and delivery excellence.
- Maintain focus and momentum during complex or high-impact initiatives.
Job Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or engineering leadership.
- Proven track record of delivering projects from concept through production.
- Strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and introduce structure where needed.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.
- Direct experience working with engineering teams and technical systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery models.
- Exposure to engineering metrics, performance tracking, and delivery KPIs.
