About The Role!
The Outbound Operations Manager is fully responsible for the end-to-end outbound process inside the warehouse, ensuring accurate, fast, and cost-efficient order fulfillment. This role owns picking, packing, dispatch readiness, productivity, quality, and SLA adherence, while leading supervisors and senior coordinators to deliver daily order targets without errors or delays.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on execution, discipline, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities
- 1. Outbound Operations Ownership
- Own the full outbound flow: order release → picking → packing → handover to last mile
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly outbound targets are achieved
- Balance speed, accuracy, and cost across operations
- Ensure all outbound orders meet SLA and cut-off time
- Lead and manage Pick & Pack Supervisors
- Ensure supervisors effectively manage Senior Coordinators and pickers/packers
- Build a performance-driven culture with clear accountability
- Handle workforce planning, shift scheduling, and coverage
- Define and track productivity KPIs: Orders per picker/packer, Pick accuracy, Pack accuracy, Orders/hour and SLA adherence
- Conduct daily floor reviews and performance follow-ups
- Identify underperformance and execute corrective actions
- Ensure strict adherence to picking and packing SOPs
- Reduce mis-picks, damages, and packing errors
- Ensure correct packaging materials are used (bubble wrap, flyers, labeling)
- Work closely with Quality / SOP teams on audits and improvements
- Enforce outbound SOPs consistently across all shifts
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in outbound flow
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput
- Support implementation of new systems, tools, or layouts
- Coordinate with Inbound, Inventory, and Warehouse Planning teams
- Communicate risks, delays, or capacity issues early to management
- Support client escalations related to outbound performance
- Deliver daily and weekly outbound performance reports
- Track trends in errors, productivity, and SLA breaches
- Use data to drive decisions and staffing needs
- Maintain discipline in system usage (WMS)

Job Qualifications
- 5–8 years experience in warehouse or fulfillment operations
- Strong experience managing pick & pack operations at scale
- Proven people management experience (supervisors & floor teams)
- Solid understanding of WMS, order flows, and warehouse KPIs
- Strong problem-solving and execution mindset
- Comfortable working in high-volume, time-sensitive environments
