About The Role :
The sorting facility supervisor is responsible for supervising daily sorting operations and ensuring all parcels are received, processed and dispatched correctly and on schedule. The role involves coordinating with team leaders and team staff, maintaining workflow efficiency and supporting the sorting facility manager in achieving operational targets.

Job Responsibilities :

  • 1- Supervise day to day workflow activities within the assigned areas of the facility
  • 2- Ensure all shipments are scanned, sorted & dispatched correctly according to operational procedures
  • 3- Monitor team performance and provide on the spot guidance to maintain accuracy, speed and productivity
  • 4- Allocate manpower and assign tasks to ensure balanced workload distribution during shifts
  • 5- Conduct end of shift meeting to review daily performance, highlight achievements and discuss issues
  • 6- Identify operational bottlenecks and report them to the sorting facility manager with recommendation for improvement
  • 7- Ensure that all staff follow safety and quality standards within the facility
  • 8- Act as the main point of contact between the sorting staff and management during the shift

Job Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3 years in hub and warehousing operations, preferably in the shipping field.
  • Very good English Level.
  • Must have experience in leading and supervising teams.
  • High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree.
  • Decision Making and problem solving skills.
  • Analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to meet deadline and work under pressure.
  • Time Management and multi-tasking.
  • Good interpersonal skills and leadership skills.
  • Proactive, with can do attitude and good judgment.
  • Focused and professional attitude.
