We are looking for a high-performing Sales Lead. This is a rare opportunity to become a critical member of a rapidly growing, well-funded start-up.
The Sales Manager/ Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of Sales Executives to drive new merchant acquisition, exceed revenue targets, and expand market share in the e-commerce logistics sector. The role includes performance management, coaching, pipeline supervision, and ensuring alignment with company growth objectives.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Executives to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve new customer acquisition goals
- Monitor sales pipeline via CRM (e.g., Freshsales) and ensure continuous deal progression
- Collaborate with other departments (Operations, Tech, Finance) to ensure seamless merchant onboardin
- Conduct regular performance reviews, track KPIs, and provide coaching to improve team productivity
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities
- Assist in negotiating commercial offers and closing strategic deals when needed
- Maintain an active understanding of the logistics and e-commerce ecosystem
- Arrange sales meetings with prospective corporate clients
- Identifies service improvements or new services by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
- Work alongside the business in the areas of strategy, sales operations, and financial goals of the department
- Identify all sales channels, and implement and execute effectively on sales strategies to win this segment
Who are you?
- 2–3 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in logistics or e-commerce sectors
- Proven track record of team management and target achievement
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies and CRM systems (preferably Freshsales)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Must be results-oriented and goal-driven
- Outgoing and persuasive personality
- Strong negotiation skills to close sales
- Strong existing working relationships with clients
- Very good English level.
- Familiarity with the logistics industry is a plus
- Experience using support tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Patience when handling tough cases from couriers .. etc.,
- Multi-tasking abilities
