As we continue to grow, we are looking for highly organized and energetic Kitchen Operations Associates to support our kitchen teams and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

The Role

As a Kitchen Operations Associate, you will work closely with chefs and kitchen leaders to ensure food is prepared, packed, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a career in food and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the kitchen to ensure smooth production and service.
  • Ensure food is prepared and packed according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products before dispatch.
  • Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices within the kitchen.
  • Support stock counts, ingredient replenishment, and stock rotation (FIFO).
  • Record wastage and report operational issues to Kitchen Leads.
  • Ensure production records and daily checklists are completed accurately.
  • Coordinate with kitchen teams to ensure orders are prepared on time.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.
  • Identify problems and escalate issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support training and onboarding of new team members when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Food Production, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in restaurants, hospitality, retail, customer service, manufacturing, or food production is an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and willingness to take ownership.
  • Comfortable working flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is an added advantage.

Nice to Have

  • Food Handler’s Certificate or HACCP certification.
  • Experience in restaurants, cloud kitchens, catering, or food manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and quality control processes.
