Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our engineering team in Nairobi. You’ll play a key role in shaping how travel businesses interact with our B2B dashboard by leading the design and implementation of modern, intuitive, and scalable user interfaces.

This is a full-time, on-site role.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the development of frontend features using Vue.js (and Nuxt.js for SSR).
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and PMs to ship high-impact features.
• Optimize performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services.
• Participate in agile processes (sprint planning, stand-ups, retros).
• Review code, mentor junior engineers, and set standards for frontend development.
• Stay current with modern frontend tools, trends, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency with Vue.js, Nuxt.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with TypeScript, Git, and build tools (Webpack, npm).
• Solid understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.
• A passion for clean code, great UX, and modern UI practices.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience in the travel or SaaS industry is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Contributions to open-source projects or tech blogs.
• Familiarity with Vuex, Vue Router, or frontend testing tools.
