Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring seamless IT operations and infrastructure management, supporting our employees with reliable tools and systems, and maintaining our IT assets and access management processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, possess strong technical expertise, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills to enhance the company's IT and facilities functions.

Responsibilities

1. IT Operations and Infrastructure


  • Business Lines Management (Vodafone, etc.):

  • Oversee and manage all business mobile lines.

  • Ensure optimal service plans and cost management.

  • Internet and Phone Line Management:

  • Ensure reliable and uninterrupted internet and ground phone services.

  • Handle vendor communication and resolve connectivity issues.

  • Device Management and Asset Tracking:

  • Maintain a detailed inventory of all IT-related assets (laptops, phones, tablets, etc.).

  • Manage procurement, setup, and distribution of new devices.

  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, and disposal of outdated equipment.

2. Access Management


  • Software and Tools Access Management:

  • Manage user accounts for tools like Slack, Gmail, and others.

  • Ensure secure and timely access for new employees, transfers, and off-boarding.

  • Regularly audit user permissions and system security.

  • Access Troubleshooting:

  • Resolve user issues with access credentials, security protocols, and system performance.

3. Facilities Management (Optional, if applicable)


  • Coordinate with external vendors for facility-related IT needs (e.g., installing office equipment like printers, projectors, etc.).

  • Oversee IT-related aspects of physical security, such as badge access systems.

4. IT Support


  • Provide day-to-day IT support for employees, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity.

  • Maintain a helpdesk or ticketing system to track and resolve IT issues efficiently.

Qualifications



  • Experience: 2+ years in an IT support or specialist role, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).

  • Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of IT systems and networks.

  • Experience with asset management and inventory tracking tools.

  • Familiarity with enterprise-level tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, etc.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and customer service orientation.

  • Ability to manage vendor relationships.
