Job Purpose:

To ensure the company’s financial health by overseeing and managing all financial activities, including reporting, budgeting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The Financial Controller will provide key insights and recommendations to drive financial performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare, analyze, and present timely and accurate financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements).


• Conduct detailed variance analyses and recommend corrective actions as needed.

1. Compliance & Internal Controls:

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company-specific financial reporting requirements.


• Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard the company’s financial assets.

1. Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts.


• Provide actionable insights to ensure alignment with the company’s financial goals.

1. Audit & Tax Management:

• Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion.


• Oversee tax planning, compliance, and accurate, timely filing of tax returns.

1. Cash Flow & Financing:

• Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and investments.


• Oversee banking relationships, debt management, and financing strategies.

1. Leadership & Collaboration:

• Supervise and mentor finance team members, ensuring continuous professional development and team efficiency.


• Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.

1. Strategic Financial Support:

• Provide financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-making.


• Identify financial risks and opportunities and propose solutions to enhance performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent qualification preferred).


• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management or a similar role.


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.


• Proficiency in financial management software (Odoo) and advanced Google Sheets skills.


• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
