3. Equipment Installation & Upgrades

  • Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
  • Support electrical modifications and upgrades to improve machine performance and reliability.
  • Oversee the integration of automation systems and PLC-controlled production processes.
  • Ensure electrical installations comply with technical specifications and operational requirements.

4. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all electrical maintenance activities comply with industrial safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to electrical maintenance and operations.
  • Enforce safe work practices, particularly during electrical isolation, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and work on energized systems.
  • Ensure proper grounding, protection systems, and electrical safety standards are maintained.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, breakdowns, repairs, and equipment downtime.
  • Track recurring electrical failures and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare maintenance reports and provide data-driven recommendations to improve equipment reliability.
  • Maintain and update electrical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation.

6. Spare Parts & Inventory Management

  • Manage inventory of critical electrical spare parts and components.
  • Ensure the availability of essential electrical components to minimize downtime risks.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely sourcing of electrical spare parts.
  • Identify critical spare parts and recommend appropriate stock levels.

7. Technical Leadership & Team Support

  • Supervise, guide, and support electrical maintenance technicians in daily activities.
  • Provide hands-on technical training on electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Review completed maintenance tasks to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with maintenance standards.
  • Coordinate with production and other maintenance teams to ensure smooth factory operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a preventive maintenance culture.
