A production manager is responsible for overseeing the production process of (Bakery, Baladi & Fresh Facility) and coordinating production activities and operations. Lead day-to-day tasks such as budgeting, transportation/facilitation, and scheduling.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Ensures that manufacturing equipment and tools function properly and increase an organization’s efficiencies.
• Make sure production processes stay within budgets and deadlines, and review the productivity of an organization’s manufacturing equipment.
• Lead the production process (Bakery, Baladi & Fresh Facility) and coordinate all activities to ensure enough resources on hand.
• Responsible for all the manufacturing-related activities in (Bakery, Baladi & Fresh Facility), including planning, coordinating, and controlling all the steps in the production process to make sure products are delivered on time and within the budget.
• Leads and develops the people and processes associated with multiple manufacturing areas or value streams and ensures the achievement of manufacturing goals related to Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale.
• Oversees the manufacturing process and ensures it aligns with the production schedule and budget.
• Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free.
• Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
• Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
• Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.
• Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team.
• Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree.
Proven experience as Production Manager +10 years.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records.
Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with the operations.
Ability to analyze and track resource availability for efficient team allocation.
Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for production management and communication is a plus.
Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and a proactive approach to ensure smooth operations.
