Role Objectives:
The People Business Partner (PBP) acts as a strategic partner to functional leaders and managers, aligning People programs with business objectives. The PBP manages complex People issues, drives workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development initiatives while ensuring seamless People delivery across their scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnering
- Partner with functional heads to align People initiatives with business priorities.
- Develop and implement workforce plans, talent pipelines, and succession strategies.
- Lead organizational change initiatives and culture-building programs.
Employee Relations & Risk Management
- Provide expert advice on complex ER issues, conducting thorough investigations and recommending actions.
- Partner with Legal on high-risk cases and ensure alignment with labor law.
- Proactively address employee issues to reduce turnover and improve engagement.
Engagement & Organizational Culture
- Lead the design and execution of company-wide engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
- Analyze engagement metrics and develop action plans in collaboration with managers.
- Drive communication campaigns and wellbeing initiatives across the business unit.
Talent Management & Performance
- Oversee performance management cycles including setting KPIs and ensuring feedback alignment.
- Support leadership development and succession planning for critical roles.
- Identify capability gaps and collaborate with L&D to address them through targeted interventions.
People Operations & Reporting
- Review and analyze People metrics, providing insights to drive decision-making.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support recruitment for mid to senior roles in collaboration with TA.
Required Education, Knowledge, And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a relevant field.
- 5 to 8 years of HR experience with 2+ years as an HR Business Partner (Preferably tech, E-Commerce, F&B background).
- Strong stakeholder management and organizational design experience.
- Experience in driving strategic HR initiatives and workforce planning.
- HR Master/diploma or an equivalent certificate is a plus.
- Proficient in English & Arabic (written and verbal)
