The MEP Engineer will lead the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across all our projects. This role is critical to ensuring that each outlet operates efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with local codes and our internal standards. The ideal candidate will have strong project management capabilities, technical expertise, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Review MEP designs for new store builds, renovations, manufacturing & operations projects.

- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into store layouts.

- Evaluate and approve shop drawings and technical submittals.

- Supervise on-site MEP work during construction and fit-out phases.

- Manage third-party consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality execution.

- Conduct inspections and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

- Recommending energy-efficient and cost-effective systems.

- Implement HVAC, lighting, and water-saving strategies aligned with sustainability goals.

- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues post-opening.

- Ensure MEP systems comply with all relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

- Maintain documentation for installations, warranties, and maintenance schedules.

- Prepare and submit technical reports, BOQs, and cost estimates.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in MEP engineering, preferably within the retail or food & beverage sector.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects across various locations simultaneously.

- Strong technical knowledge in HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing systems.

- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and permitting procedures.

- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and relevant engineering software.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project coordination skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Experience in fast-track retail fit-outs or chain store rollouts is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of sustainable building practices is a plus.

- Agile and responsive mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
