Job Duties
- Oversee and manage daily last-mile delivery operations, ensuring SLAs are met.
- Lead, train, and develop a team of supervisors.
- Monitor performance metrics such as on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational costs.
- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Customer Experience, Technology, Commercial) to resolve escalations and improve delivery solutions.
- Manage route optimization, capacity planning, and resource allocation to ensure seamless operations.
- Implement health, safety, and compliance standards across last-mile operations.
- Prepare regular reports on operational performance and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure strong vendor/partner management (where applicable) and maintain solid relationships with external delivery providers.
- Support strategic projects and pilot programs to test new last-mile initiatives and innovations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, with at least 2 years in Management.
- Strong people management and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Solid understanding of logistics systems, routing, and last-mile technology solutions.
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and managing performance KPIs.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
